White & Brief advises BacAlt BioSciences on Avaana Sustainability’s investment

White & Brief – Advocates and Solicitors advised BacAlt BioSciences on securing a strategic investment from Avaana Sustainability, with additional participation from Lubrizol Advanced Materials Europe BV, a subsidiary of global specialty chemicals provider Lubrizol.

The investment marks a significant capital infusion to accelerate BacAlt’s research and development, pilot production, team expansion, and international go-to-market initiatives. The funding will also support BacAlt in strengthening its advanced bio-manufacturing processes and establishing pilot production facilities, in line with its vision for global expansion.

Founded in 2023 by Shruti Kutmutia and Pranav Nair, BacAlt develops biopolymers from agro-industrial waste, offering sustainable alternatives to traditional specialty ingredients.
