Mohit has extensive experience in advising and handling litigations or arbitrations for Companies involved in manufacturing, processing, trading & import of food products, drugs & pharma, hospitality & leisure, airline & travels, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). He also has extensive experience of handling matters related to white collar crimes involving diverse issues. He regularly deals with complex and technical issues relating to corporate commercial litigation, including strategizing, planning and preparing for Contractual disputes, Shareholders’ disputes, proceedings related Bank Guarantees / Letter of Credit Litigation, Consumer Disputes, Complaints under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the Legal Metrology Act, 2011 as well as proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code etc.
Mohit’s experience extends to drafting of pleadings, opinions and appearing before several judicial authorities and tribunals including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts of various States, District Courts, National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, National Commission for Consumer Disputes Redressal and other Consumer Forums. He has had the opportunity of appearing in more than fifteen High Courts of India, including their respective Benches for various clients having a pan-India presence.
