Mohit’s practice covers diverse areas of civil & corporate commercial litigation. His area of expertise includes corporate & commercial disputes in Courts as well as in Arbitration. He advises and acts for companies in the realm of administrative & constitutional law.

Mohit has extensive experience in advising and handling litigations or arbitrations for Companies involved in manufacturing, processing, trading   &   import   of   food products, drugs & pharma, hospitality & leisure, airline & travels, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). He also has extensive experience of handling matters related to white collar crimes involving diverse issues. He regularly deals with complex and technical issues relating to corporate commercial litigation, including strategizing, planning and preparing for Contractual disputes, Shareholders’ disputes, proceedings related Bank Guarantees / Letter of Credit Litigation, Consumer Disputes, Complaints under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the Legal Metrology Act, 2011 as well as proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code etc.

Mohit’s experience extends to drafting of pleadings, opinions and appearing before several judicial authorities and tribunals including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts of various States, District Courts, National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, National Commission for Consumer Disputes Redressal and other Consumer Forums. He has had the opportunity of appearing in more than fifteen High Courts of India, including their respective Benches for various clients having a pan-India presence.

  • A major waste management Company in multiple arbitration in respect of its contractual disputes with local municipal corporations as well as challenging Tender processes for award of work.
  • E-commerce entities and intermediaries in relation to their liabilities under the Information Technology Act, 2000 as well as issues pertaining to Legal Metrology Act, 2009.
  • A Company engaged in the business of engineering, manufacturing, procuring, constructing and commissioning projects in the Power and Oil & Gas sector in its disputes with Oil India Ltd.
  • An Insurance Company for protection of its confidential data and takedown/removal thereof from social media platforms.
  • A major FMCG company before the Protection of Plant Variety and Farmers Right Authority.
  • A German Aviation Company in respect of consumer complaints pan India and other operations related issues.
  • An integrated mining and resources producer in Petitions before the Mining Tribunal challenging the excessive demand of royalty raised by the Government of Rajasthan.
  • A Major Port Operator in its disputes with the Port Trust involving levy of penalty on account of alleged non-compliance and breach of the license agreement executed for operating the Terminal.
  • A major travel company in various consumer disputes as well as disputes with former employees.
  • A major FMCG Company in proceedings before various Consumer Forums across India pertaining to Complaints regarding their product pricing, unfair trade practices and product quality.
